EKU Students Inducted Into IMA Accounting Honor Society
The Department of Accounting, Finance and Information Systems is pleased to announce the induction of their very best Accounting students into the IMA Accounting Honor Society.
EKU's students were nominated by their accounting professor, Dr. Trish Isaacs, who stated, "My Advanced Management Accounting Seminar students were very interested in participating in the honor society, so I nominated those who qualified. The honor society provides recognition for our high-performing accounting students."
The IAHS (IMA Accounting Honor Society) was created to recognize and honor academic achievement in the study of accounting. Juniors, seniors or post-graduate students in accounting, finance or information technology with an overall and accounting GPA of 3.0 at an accredited college or university are eligible.
IMA is the worldwide association of accountants and financial professionals working in business with more than 70,000 members. The IMA provides a forum for research, practice development, education, knowledge sharing, and the advocacy of the highest ethical and best business practices in management accounting and finance.
